Roman Valerievich Velichko is a Russian artist. Born in 1968 in Biysk. In 1993, he graduated from the Kharkov Aviation Institute named after N. E. Zhukovsky with a degree in “Designer of solid fuel rocket engines.” He served in the Air Force in Lithuania, Latvia, and the Kaliningrad region. He started drawing in 1989 as a student and participated in art exhibitions in Kharkov. Returning to Biysk, he worked as a designer in advertising companies. From 2009 to the present, he has been one of the leaders of the September advertising group in Biysk. He took part in ten Biysk exhibitions of contemporary art. In 2008 and 2012 Personal exhibitions of the artist took place in the Barnaul galleries "Universum" and "Republic of Fine Arts". In the fall of 2014, the works of Roman Velichko were presented in the Moscow art gallery on the Red Hills "black dog". Also, the master’s paintings are in private collections both in Russia and abroad.
