The Zwin Nature Park (until 2016 known as the Provincial Nature Park Zwin) is the most important nature reserve on the Belgian part of the Zwin, an old estuary of the North Sea. Sea lavender forms a large purple flower carpet for a few weeks, until about mid-August.
