The image is of Inaria fossils, a sea-dwelling animal that lived over 560 million years ago. It also reminds me of a cubist style sculpture called "The Kiss" by Romanian born French artist Constantin Brancusi. The card also has a first day of issue mark on the stamp. Great card!
