You can see crosses on the domes of two buildings in this picture of Maaloula, a pretty sure sign of Christian churches. They make me long for the days when the three Peoples of the Book (Jews, Christians, and Muslims) got along better than they do now. They also make me wonder how many speakers of Aramaic (the language used by Christ) still live here.
