What started on July 14th, 2005 as a simple idea — to connect people through postcards — has grown into a vibrant, welcoming community that spans the globe. Over the past 20 years, millions of postcards have crossed oceans and borders, carrying stories, smiles, and small moments of kindness between strangers.

At its heart, Postcrossing is a celebration of connection, proving that even in a fast-paced and digital world, a handwritten message and a simple postcard can make someone’s day a little brighter. None of this would be possible without you, the incredible community who keeps those mailboxes busy and hearts full. Thank you for being part of this journey! 💙❤️

Connections beyond postcards - meetups!

What’s a party without friends? This July, join a Postcrossing meetup and share the joy in person! Whether you’re catching up with old postcard buddies or meeting new ones, meetups are a fun way to hang out, share postcards, and celebrate 20 years of postcard magic together. And if there isn’t a meetup near you… why not start one? Big or small, every gathering counts!
