Hello my friend😉

My name is Jianing（家宁）. A literature, art lover; a huge fan of biking, visiting museums and galleries. I am a master's student in China. I was working as a foreign correspondent for the EU in Brussels last year. Now I am working for the UN 🇺🇳 Sounds cool, right? 😁 I love the feelings I am connecting to the world village!

I love traveling so much. By far, I have been to 40 countries at the age of 24. When traveling, I love listening to different voices and trying to reduce prejudices and stereotypes which are enhanced by the media and politicians in my own small way. Most biases are caused by poor communication, lack of information, and deliberate misdirection by the media.

However, though the days when it was an extravagant hope to take off the mask and breathe freely are gone, the boundaries between people seem to be more clear in this turbulent time. That's why I like Postcrossing, which gives us a platform to “meet” by postcards among the 7.8 billion people of this blue planet. We are all different, but we are all essentially the same. Through Postcrossing, we can cross all kinds of boundaries and reduce prejudice, and embrace each other.

Although thousands of miles apart, each postcard is your incarnation, so every card and stamp you chose and every word you wrote is special to me. I would love to know more about you and your life.
