Have been a stamp collector for over 40 years and have now embarked on a new quest- I want to receive a postcard, addressed to me , mailed from every stamp issuing entity in the world.Starting on March 01st 06, I now have cards from 254 countries or entities.The new countries or stamp issuing entities I received so far in 2011 are Somalia and Somaliland, Djibouti , Wallis & Futuna Islands , Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Caribisch Nederland, Sint Maarten , Nauru, Eritrea ,Aitutaki , Cote d'Ivoir, and Andorra- Spanish Admin.

I am a grandfather to four wonderful grandsons and one beautiful granddaughter. And I couldn't be prouder of either of them.

I like to receive my postcards as postcards , written on , stamped and mailed, NOT in an envelope.

PLEASE do not upload any postcards to my postcard wall. Please respect my right to not partake of this particular part of Postcrossing.

Attn Postcrossers : I have held off with this following comment for over 3 years now , that I have been a Postcrosser. I have finally come to the conclusion that I really do not like multi view cards. It is my opinion that if a place, or a building or whatever deserves to be on a postcard , then it deserves to be the focus of the whole postcard. It should not have to share the spotlight.

I like and will welcome any and all postcards. Just the same, here are a few of my likes : Airlines and Airliners, Manhole Covers, Post Offices and Post Boxes. Anything along these lines would be good, but Anything goes.
