Have been a stamp collector for over 40 years and have now embarked on a new quest- I want to receive a postcard, addressed to me , mailed from every stamp issuing entity in the world.I started this on March 01, 2006. I now have cards from 258 countries or entities, leaving me just 16 more to collect. Of those 16, 10 are in Africa and they are quite difficult to get.
I am a grandfather to four wonderful grandsons and one beautiful granddaughter. And I couldn't be prouder of either of them.
I like to receive my postcards as postcards , written on , stamped and mailed, NOT in an envelope.
PLEASE do not upload any postcards to my postcard wall. Please respect my right to not partake of this particular part of Postcrossing.
Attn Postcrossers : I have held off with this following comment for over 3 years now , that I have been a Postcrosser. I have finally come to the conclusion that I really do not like multi view cards. It is my opinion that if a place, or a building or whatever deserves to be on a postcard , then it deserves to be the focus of the whole postcard. It should not have to share the spotlight.
I like and will welcome any and all postcards. Just the same, here are a few of my likes : Airlines & Airliners, People, Manhole Covers, Royalty, Post Offices and Post Boxes, Trains & Railroads, pin-ups and erotica. Anything along these lines would be good, but Anything goes.
