I am a 38 year old woman who recently moved from New Jersey to Missouri, USA. My hobbies include cross stitch, photography, and reading. I drink way too much coffee.
It is such a treat to open my mailbox and find a card. Hand-written cards with interesting stamps are my favorites :) Please don't use an envelope - I love to see the postmarks and bumps and bruises that a card receives while it travels.
My favorites show the kind of cards I like, that I haven't received. I don't add my received cards to my favorites because every one is a favorite!
Other themes I like include:
- viewcards of your town/city/country - show me where you live!
- map cards and transit maps
- trains, trolleys, subway stations, train stations, etc.
- royalty, royal families, castles
- colleges & universities
- ice hockey
- anything related to the Olympics
- Vespa scooters, Mini Cooper, Volkswagen cars, retro cars
- famous building, architecture, interiors
- cameras, famous photographers, anything related to photography
- math, science, space travel
- any kind of art (painting, sculpture, photography, etc)
- traditional hand crafts such as embroidery or weaving
- churches, cathedrals, temples and other places of worship
- "Big Letter" postcards
- Funny illustrated cats like Jetoy, Lancy Cat, or Kotovasiya
- books, bookshops, libraries
- movies, tv shows, famous people
- Disney - especially the theme parks or Lilo & Stitch
- Anything related to Doctor Who, The Muppets, Sesame Street, Pixar, Harry Potter, Wallace & Gromit, Shaun the Sheep, Classic Winnie the Pooh, garden gnomes, Anne of Green Gables, or Jane Austen
