Hello: I'm a 49 years old man (born in 1961). I'm married, with a 23 year-old daughter. Collecting postcards is one of my favourite hobbies. My other hobbies are: reading and writing about train depots or railway stations architecture and history; listening to music (pop, shoegaze,low-fi, noise, indie) and going to concerts; visiting museums and reading (contemporary narrative, biographies, sciencie Fiction, fantastic or terror and criminal genres). Also, I have multiple interests in many issues.
The cards that will make me happy are:
- Train depots / Railway stations
- Vintage views of cities and beaches
- Anything about trains and locomotives
- Pop-Art paints (Warhol, Lichtenstein, Wesselmann, Blake, Hamilton, Ramos, etc.)
- Pre-Raphaelites, Impressionists and postimpressionists paints
- Sovietic Realism paints
- Realistic painters of XIX and XX centuries
- Architectonic monuments or singular buildings (Industrial Heritage, factories, engine machines) of your city/country
- Comic-Book characters or covers (also Bande Dessinée, Cuadrinhos, Fumetti, Manga, Tebeos ...)
- Pin-up postcards (Elvegren, Vaughn Bass, Earl Moran, Harry Ekman, etc.)
I don't have specially interest in animal or flower cards, but they will be welcome too. Please don't send ADs or handmade cards. Honestly, I prefer standard size postcards (10,00 x 15,00 cms /3.9 x 5.9 inch.) or smaller ones.
