About Lydia...
Guten Tag! (Hello!)
My name is Lydia.
I’ve lived in Berlin for 8 years.
Berlin is the capitol of Germany.
I am one of 3.8 million people here.
And I never get bored.
Before that I lived in smaller cities,
for example: in Halle and in Dessau.
You may know Halle because of the composer Händel.
You may know Dessau because of the Bauhaus.
After a long break
I will start sending postcards again here.
I am looking forward to the cards
that will reach me soon.
I like to:
• read and write,
• carve stamps out of rubber and lino,
• cycle and hike,
• listen to music,
• listen to fairy tales on old vinyl records,
• produce with the software Logic Pro X,
• knit rectangles,
• do cross stitches,
• rummage,
• eat vegan.
I work as a freelance journalist
for different German plublic broadcasting radio stations.
I am also a speaker for audiobooks.
Now I am starting a new business:
as a translator for Leichte Sprache (“easy language“).
Do you want to write in your own language?
Feel free!
For card inspiration:
• alphabet
• characters
• arts
• mumins
• moss
• birds
• donkeys
• farm animals
• ocean
• working women
• selfmade prints
• bicycles
With kind regards
Tschüss! (Bye, bye!)
Lydia
