About Sofia...
I'm a Geographer, graduated in "Town Planning" area, though I adore phisical stuff. And I have degree of "Territory Management and Town Planning" master.
I LOVE to TRAVEL! I'm completely crazy about that! There are so many places, cities and countries I'd love to go! I just feel there is SO MUCH to see in this world...
As a Geographer, I'd love to receive POSTCARDS of:
* Urban views, that may be aerial views, a street, an avenue, a park, a square, a requalified area, or another place of the city... everything! And also street art and urban art :D
I also love portuary areas and industrial cities, specially the old ones from the XVIII and XIX centuries, but I also like the modern ones too. I'm really fascinated with everything that is related with industrial cities, industrial architecture and the buildings of the industrial cities =D
* Natural landscapes, all kind of places in nature and savage views... (no flower card)
* Postcards with maps!!! it may be a city map, region map, country map, subway map, bus network map, railway map, etc.
* Tea, coffee and spices (specially the oriental ones...). A view from a typical café/caffetaria or bar... it's always so cute and cosy :)
* Lighthouses, windmills, old roads, railways, trains (specially the old ones and locomotives), railway stations (specially the old ones), abandoned places, and the signboards with the streets name and with the doors number :)
* Cards with surrealistic paintings! Salvador Dali is my favourite :D
* The wonderful Stars Sower statue, of Kaunas city, in Lithuania =D
* Airplanes from comercial flights =D
* SAND from different parts of the world, I collect it :D
* Easter island cards :D it's still such a mistery for humanity this island :D
* And finnaly, as a geographer, and specially for the Scandinavian people, I'd love to get a card with the Iron Globe from Honningsvag in the North Cape =D
I'd be happy if you could send me a card with something of THIS list, I hope the choices are quite enough!
Please... NOOOO envelopes... I love to see the stamps in the back of the card =)
P.S 1- There is so much a card can tell beyond just a simple "Happy Postcrossing", think about that...
P.S 2- Yes about Private Swaps, but it depends on the country... if it is a country that I already have A LOT of cards or not.
** I received a card from Anaheim, USA with no ID... **
