About Alyssa...

Hi! My name is Alyssa. I am 26 years old and live in Flagstaff, Arizona, only about an hour from the Grand Canyon. It's a gorgeous area with lots of mountains. We are about 7000 feet in elevation so we get all four seasons with lots of snow in the winter and lots of sun in the summer. I enjoy reading, many outdoor activities, cooking/baking, traveling, and hanging out with friends.

I work at an elementary school in my city with children 5 - 12 years of age. They are very fun but very tiring!

I like scenery and landscape postcards the best, but I would love any that you find interesting. :) I also love famous landmarks and artists (especially Van Gogh and Monet) and artistic photos of food. Black and white pictures are also some of my favorites!

If you're not sure what to write, I would love to hear an embarrassing story that has happened to you or someone you know, or your guilty pleasure. Mine is watching tv shows with a bowl of thai food and a glass of wine (if I have the time!) If you want to write a few words in your native language, that would be great! Or, I am allergic to milk and would love to receive any of your favorite dairy-free recipes!
