About Me?
I am 43 years old and live in North Alabama. I have been collecting postcards for about 20 years now. I enjoy reading, traveling, music, theaters, museums, medieval history, renaissance faires, scrapbooking and genealogy.
Some of the cards that I collect are: novelty (leather, wood, paper etc,)motels (interior preferably,) architecture, "Welcome to..." signs, Fotofolio, and scenic cards. I enjoy receiving cards with pretty or unusual stamps! PLEASE NO CARDS IN ENVELOPES - I ENJOY SEEING POSTMARKS AND STAMPS ON CARDS!
I also have MANY (mostly used) cards from Germany and surrounding countries from the 1950's-1990's as well as several from Ostende and Las Palmas (some unused and some used) If you would like to do a private trade for some of these, please send me a note.
PS-The US postal service sometimes puts a white bar code sticker on postcards (sometimes front, sometimes back.) You can peel these off without damaging the card!
