Well, I heard about this project from a customer at the gift shop I used to work in. She was buying over a dozen postcards and I asked her if she was writing to family. She said no, and then told me all about Postcrossing. Intrigued, I looked it up when I got home that evening, liked what I saw and signed up.

I am originally from the USA and moved to Germany for work. I currently live in Berlin, which is an amazing city. Plenty to see and do any day of the week, and in any kind of weather! My hobbies are reading (fiction and poetry), playing D&D with my friends, and going out to explore more of Berlin. I also love traveling, which is one of the reasons I started Postcrossing in the first place, a chance to talk to people from all over the world and find out what they love about the places they live or have been to.

Some of my favorite kinds of postcards include: images of artwork, historical places, black and white photography, recipe cards, landscape photography and funny cartoons!
