Hello all!

My name is Ruth and I live in Wageningen, which is a small, cute town in the middle of the Netherlands. I came here to work on the communication between microbes in soil.

I love traveling and getting lost in hidden places. I like reading books, arthouse movies, concerts, photography, doing handicrafts and one of my new hobbies is gardening.

Here some things I would like to find on my postcards:

•handmade cards
•Quotes from your favorite book
•A typical dish from your country (and the recipe, I like to cook things from different countries)
• Nature scenes (maybe your favorite place in your country)
• Indigenous people and women
• Art pieces (including name of the artist and the piece of art)
•Owls
•Aubergines (it’s my favorite vegetable)
• Something with the colors purple and green (In general I like colors, so no need to save on that)
•(Urban) gardens (maybe you have your own one and tips for planting)

I’d love to get fully written cards, so tell me who you are, what you’re doing, where you’re living, something typical about your country, how you feel at the moment, what are your dreams in life? You can write in your native language, I’d be happy to decipher anything you write me.

I collect stamps from the cards I receive, so if you can find any special stamp I would be very happy about it.
In general I appreciate real and original, creative things, but I will receive any card with great pleasure!
