Marina Babina: card had no id number?
Hi! my name is Marty; its my nickname because my baby sister Sally couldnt say "Marcia". It always came out "Marty"! Another fact: in my babybook it sez "She likes to make things" at age two, at age three,... at age twelve..................and i still do. A few years ago we moved to South Carolina and realized what a treasure box of found objects we have and started using them again in the items we make. Its fun to see the smiles of recognition of an ordinary item in a bit of warm glass.
I grew up in Centerville Township, Neosho County, Kansas where my family homesteaded in the 1800's. i graduated Kansas State University in Anthropology and Sociology. Then when my husband graduated we lived in Nebraska for 26 years. now we here in SC the state of Smiling Faces and Beautiful Places. its great.
And for 20 plus years i've been an art show artist selling my glasswork at regional fairs in the heartland from the high plains to the Ozarks. Last year we took care of my dad so we didnt travel as much. i'm a Netflix addict and love historical and foreign films. i enjoy traveling and reading.
My favorite things are bicycles and cats.
