I am from Ireland, but I moved to London in October 2009 to study and have stayed on. I absolutely love to travel, and I get to do some as part of my job; there is never time to see places properly however, and I have a long list of places I would love to visit! I have never been to Asia, so postcards from there are particularly welcome.
I would particularly like postcards of beautiful old buildings, landmarks, archaeological sites, UNESCO sites, interesting landscapes and rock formations (dorky, I know, but I am a geology graduate!), nice photography, and touristy cards. No ad cards/handmade postcards please, and I do prefer handwriting and cards without envelopes.
I absolutely LOVE elephants. Cards with elephants are always appreciated, though I am not keen on circus elephants, I think that they are happier in the wild.
Also, bonus marks if you spell my name right =) It's pronounced 'Alva', which confuses people, but it makes sense in the Irish language.
