I am a 48 year old teacher/writer/artist/Mom. I have been married to my music teacher husband for 27 years. We have lived in Wyoming, Oregon, Beijing and for the last 22 years, in the California/Oregon Border coast in the Redwoods. I have two teenage sons and a lot of pets and extended family.
I loved having penpals as a child and found my best friend as a pen pal when I was a high school student taking German. She came to visit multiple times and now writes travel books about The USA in German
I love photography, painting and writing for children, and camping/hiking. I published 2 books, a fantasy about a 9 YO boy with Cerebral palsy, "Duffy Barkley is not a Dog." & "Duffy Barkley: Seek Well" I write two blogs on blogspot, "Duffy Barkley's Mom" and "Echo's Voice" and I am on twitter as "DuffyBarkley" and on redgage as "echo" I love the outdoors and getting out in nature but I only like big cities to visit, explore and then leave.
I love any kind of postcard but esp. those that compare historical/modern times.
