Hello there!

My name is Neelke and I'm studying International Development Studies in Utrecht, the Netherlands :)
I've studied history for four years, with a special interest in American studies, earlymodern history, holocaust studies, and women's history. Now I'm doing a master in IDS and I'd like to work for an NGO, preferably something with women's rights. I've spent four months in Cambodia doing an internship earlier this year. I love traveling and that is why postcrossing is so tempting, to do a bit of travelling when you're at home. I love reading, arthouse movies, cooking, baking cakes and photography.

I'd be very happy with any kind of card you sent, but if you're looking for clues to what I might like check my favorites on my postcards wall. I'm not a big fan of tourist or animal cards.
I really love:
- Jugendstil/art nouveau; Alphonse Mucha, Gustav Klimt, J.W. Waterhouse, Gaudi.
- images of books, bookcases
- libraries and universities
- reading people
- vintage advertising cards
- children's books illustrations
- pink, especially in floral graphic designs
- cupcakes, high tea, tea cups and pots
- subway/underground maps of your city
