About Tim...

I like travel, music, reading, writing (creatively and factually, for pleasure and for pay), plants, photography, etc etc.

Though I live in Japan, I'm not Japanese. I was born and raised in small town Ontario (that's in Canada :P), and got the hell out of there to the University of Toronto as soon as could; after that, I got the hell out of the country as soon as I could, and now I'm in Japan teaching English -- have been for almost five years.

I studied history in university, and so I'm a big ol' history/politics/world events nerd.

I like all postcards, but I'd of course prefer something that's not a free ad-card (unless it's meant to be used for correspondence, and you write a message on it), but whatever, I'm easy. :)

I got tired of writing pretty much THIS (points to the above bit) on my sent postcards, so I stopped. If you want to know, you'll check out my profile and read this when you register anyway. Makes it more fun to me to write more freely on the postcards. Accept this as an explanation to your question of: "What the heck does this even mean, what???" when you read the postcard I sent you. Often, it's just song lyrics, so chill, yeah? :D?

RUDE POSTCROSSERS WHO OUGHT TO BE AVOIDED:
poussemoussu - runs a guesthouse, and sends postcards promoting it, along with a request to translate portions of his brochure into your local language, so he can better promote his guesthouse. When you choose to register your distaste for this practice by not filling in the 'optional' message field upon registration, he takes it upon himself to send a rude message insulting your education and your country. AVOID.
