I want to share with you a love story: I was in a large assembly room at college sitting with my friend, when I spotted a handsome guy at the other side of the room. He was looking right at me and came over and approached me. We ended up dating that night and the next morning when we got together, we were both were surprised that we each had a dream that we would get married some day..and we did get married. 47 years later of marriage, on September 5, 2020, my husband passed away from a cardiac arrest. He had prayed that we would go out together, (pass away). I'm very lonely for my partner but our two sons and two grand children keep me going and active. I have been spending the last 4 months by honoring my husband doing many of the tasks that he would have done. I miss the evenings when we would sit on the sofa watching TV and he would always hold my hand.

I am a teacher and love learning about people and their environment. I The picture on my avatar was taken from my backyard looking across the pond. This was taken in the fall and you can see in the sky the storm off to the east. The sky made a beautiful contrast to the sunlight in the west casting a glow on the trees.

If you have sent me a postcard and I have not registered it within a reasonable amount of time, please, please send me a message and let me know. I am ordinarily a very organized person but sometimes things can get hectic and I can loose track of registering. I apologize and certainly don't want you to have an expired postcard on account of me. It makes me sad for all of the expired cards I have on my list. I don't know if it's a result of our postal system, your postal system or people loosing track of registering but either way, it makes me sad. I get so excited when someone has received my postcard. I love postcrossing.
