I found out about postcrossing in February 2012 and just loved the idea! I really like sending and recieving postcards, so I decided to give it a try.
I've been a medical doctor for almost 30 years, at the moment I'm working as an Assistant professor with the Disaster Medicine Department of the Medical University in my city. I'm teaching students in the English Language program( the classes are in English). I'm married with two grown-up girls. I'm interested in photography, art, architecture, history and archeology. I like animals, especially dogs - got a poodle myself – almost 12 years old light-apricot male and anything poodlish. I love the sea, the ships, but I'm really enchanted by the South seas (Indian ocean, the islands of French Polynesia, Australia, New Zealand ...

I love reading books. Jane Austin is my favourite author and I love "Pride and prejudice". I also love Agatha Christie's novels and the books of Lois McMaster Bujold (big fan of Miles Naismith Vorkosigan). And I love reading about archeology.

As for the postcards, I'll be happy to recieve any card with:
- Covid19/Corona virus
- poodle/poodles on it will be much appreciated!

- the Mole from the cartoon for my Czech friends

I hope to receive a "Keep calm and hug the poodle" card one day.

Well, anything poodlish will be just great, otherwise, whatever you choose will be welcomed!
