I am Melanie, 28 year old, living and working in Oslo, Norway. I was born and raised in Switzerland though and have been living in Norway since 1998.
I love to travel and see new parts of the world. I like to learn about new countries and cultures. This is also why I like to recieve postcards from all over the world.

I love the good old "snail-mail". If you feel the same way and would like a penpal in Norway, just let me know. I would love to get some new penpals all over the world and learn more about your country and culture than you can write on one single postcard!

My favourite cardmotives? I prefer landsapes and city cards. Please show me your home town, the sights and typical buildings in your region! I love nature, mountains, forests, lakes, the sea...
If you live in an area with special animals, you also can send me a card with them. I love animals, especially wolves, tigers, dogs, birds and horses.
I am interested in sports like football (soccer), handball, tennis, different kind of winter sports etc. and would also like cards with such motives.
And some special motives I really like are coffee/tea motives, like cups, beans and tealeaves.
I also love romantic motives or erotica. Like kisses, hugs etc and they might also be gay-related.
Oh, and everything to do with books, reading, letters, mailboxes etc.
Sunsets, sunrises, autumnleaves and landscapes as well as winterlandscapes are also mostly welcome.

Special country wishes:
-Netherlands: I'd love to get a card with the postcrossing stamp if it's not too much effort.
-Ireland: I love the Irish nature, but if you have anything regarding the Titanic, that would be great =)

I think I just stop here. They are ideas for you, but generally I just like getting postcards, no matter what they show. I am glad for every one I get. So just send me one you think I might like =)
Just one thing, please no advertising cards. I am spending much time to find a card that suits your wishes, so I hope, you will consider the same!
