Hi, I'm Michael from Orimattila, near Lahti, in Finland.
I am a professional icon painter (Byzantine style) and in my work I teach icon painting. I am particularly interested in Byzantine art, icons, frescoes, mosaics.
I also like traveling a lot, my favorite destinations are Greece, Cyprus, Canary Islands ( Fuerteventura especially !!)
I have traveled to Austria,Albania, Hungary, Estonia, Latvia, Sweden, Italy, Croatia, Russia, Spain, Greece, Cyprus and North Cyprus of Turkey's territory, Denmark and Gibraltar
In the summer I have lots of flowers in the garden, lilies in particular
orange, yellow, red purple and white
There are also plants that attract lots of butterflies.
I also like photography.

I collect cards of ecclesiastical art, the ICONS/fresco of the saints(orthodox)
