Hello all postcrossers!
If you happen to get my address and send me a card it will come to a retired high school teacher in South-Finland. I live in a nice small town not very far away from our capital city. I am married, have a son and a daughter but they are adults and have their own families and live elsewhere. I am also a happy grandmother of two lovely girls and two little boys.

I am interested in so many things that I can't mention them all and they may change from time to time. Genealogy has been my hobby for over thirty years now and I still search for my ancestors and relatives from behind hundreds of years. Isn't it silly to waste time for such useless things? Bugt it is exciting.

I love books and read almost all kinds of books except scifi. I try to read at least a few pages every day and if the book is interesting I can't stop reading it to the end right away.

I like travelling and I am interested in foreign cultures and would like to see the whole world but unfortunately it is impossible because of the lack of time, money, health, courage, but mainly because the world is so big and full of wonderful exciting places. I have visited most of the European countries, many of them several times, and a couple of places outside Europe.

I appreciate every card you choose to send to me but I would be happy if I could get one of these:

• magnificent NATURE views (high mountains, oceans, big rivers,
deserts, volcanoes, waterfalls)
• the Alps
• FAMOUS buildings (castles, towers, churches, temples,
monasteries)
• FAMOUS architecture (old and modern)
• UNESCO World Heritage, World Wonders
• map cards
• genealogy
• people (ethnic)
• royal families

Or maybe you get the idea of a suitable card by looking at my favourites.Please save your cat and dog cards to those who would be happy of receiving such a card. NO AD CARDS,please. I would like to have the cards written and stamped, NO ENVELOPES. I don’t collect plain cards, I collect WRITTEN cards. So, the more you write on the card the better. Tell me about yourself, your hobbies, your living place, your plans, your favourite books or anything you choose.
