Hello,
My name is Marion but my friends call me Maz, I am 22, and I love collecting postcards. My hobbies involve archery, dancing (Tap, Irish, Salsa, Morris Dancing = http://www.malmesburymorris.org.uk/ ), reading books and writing (poetry in particular). I also enjoy watching dvds and baking cakes and biscuits. My mum (user: wewuk) is also a postcrosser. Postcard collecting has run in the family for 4 generations now.
As I love languages you could teach me a few important words of your language e.g. hello, goodbye, thankyou, my name is... etc. I just started teaching myself Japanese so teach me something interesting if you speak the language. Ca me fera plaisir si vous écrivez en français.
I lived in Switzerland for 1 year (september '07 - June '08) as part of my degree. I studied French with Creative Writing at Bangor University in North wales. I was known as 'Postcard Girl' by the post people when I lived there.

→ Moomins!!! (I was a big fan as a child, oh and I ♥ the Groke!)
→ recipies (especially cakes!)

→ animals (otters, owls, squirrels, elephants, rabbits, hares)
→ cartoons/children's illustrations (Tintin, Asterix, Boule et Bill, Calvin and Hobbes, Krtek, Bunny Suicides)
→ Anime/manga (Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, XXXHolic, Cardcaptor Sakura, anything else by CLAMP, Skip Beat, Ghost in the Shell)
→ I really enjoy receiving crazy/unusual/original postcards.
→ I am always interested by other countries so feel free to send me one of where you live.
