Hi, I am Mara and have enjoyed doing this with my 13 year old daughter. We love scenic postcards from your town or city or country. We have a Shih Tzu puppy (named Toby), so my daughter also enjoys postcards with puppies on them. :-) If you send a scenic postcard, we enjoy reading the details about the picture also. Mostly my daughter just enjoys getting all kinds of postcards in the mail! This has been a lot of fun.
If you're from The Netherlands, I love windmills and I collect Delft. I would love postcards from there!
I also enjoy multicolored, unique cards, like the row of rainbow colored shoes or mailboxes. Castles and beautiful buildings, views of your city, airplanes, boats, coffee, Christmas, shaped postcards, royalty, and other interesting postcards are all appreciated.
My 11 year old son has just (January 2011) started collecting stamps, so this is fun for him, too. He loves Red Pandas and Elephants and Penguins!
