Hi,my name is Alina and i am a Ukrainian currently living in Switzerland.
I love to send and receive postcards from all over the world. I do enjoy traveling and seeing other cultures.... Now i study for a degree in Sinology, East Asian Art History and History of Photography. I also work at the university at several projects East Asian Art.
I've lived some time in China (miss it sooooo much) and visited bit of Latin America and now I'm discovering the beauty of Europe.
Cards i especially love:
-Anything from my favorites
-Art ( Asian Art would make me very very happy, but any will do)
-Atelier Nouvelles Images (these cards with many little objects, i love them)
-Drawn book illustrations and book characters like Moomins, Krtek, Little Prince, Alice in Wonderland or surprise me with your favorite illustration art
-Dear friends from Taiwan, i'd love to get Jimmy Liao （幾米）cards!
-Works of famous photographers, vintage cameras or people with cameras
-Hello Kitty
-Vintage cards
-Seas and oceans
-postcards with postboxes, letters, stamps and anything post related on them
-lavender
-teddy-bears
-drawn or painted cats
-all things Asian and everything connected to China
-pandas
-Jack Russel Terriers
-Airplanes, your local airlines (That's for my boyfriend, his job is connected to aviation and he enjoys that)
-Views of your home country or city where you live (something u think is beautiful and worth seeing). But please try to choose some thing you would like yourself to receive. And i always prefer painted or drawn or nicely photographed. The only things i don't like are most of multiviews, though even they can sometimes be nice

I also really love painted or drawn images rather than photographed ones on the printed postcards, like aquarelle city views, drawn illustrations of cats and so on.

Still not sure what to send me-you may look at my favorites to see images i liked most (but didn't receive yet) , i've collected a big wish-list that includes almost any country. I will really love to have one of them or similar!

These are just guidelines of course.I am happy with any card you want to send me, just please don't send them empty, write something, anything about yourself, this card, your mood etc. I am always happy to receive something from you. Postcrossing is a wonderful gift, isn't it?
