Hello guys!

My name is Maíra, I am Brazilian and also Italian, but I am currently living in England. I have just finished my Masters in International Relations here in the UK. I am truly passionate about learning about other cultures and traditions and to hear peoples' stories. I love to travel and I love maps and art.

I think that this is an amazing opportunity to make friends around the world and to realize that no matter where we live, similar things makes us happy or sad. We are so different but yet so alike.

I love art so would love to receive cards with any artwork (Picasso including Rose and Blue Phase, Bosch, Dali, Julia Heffernan, Miro, Kandinsky, Malevich, Matisse, and Klimt are some of my favourites, but you can send of any artist you think it's interesting or even from your home country) ! I would also like to receive cards with pictures showing the people or traditions of your country. Please check my favourites' list to see what I like. I also like postcards featuring people (especially drawings). I like fairies or anything that is surreal.

Oh I also love cinema and watch many many foreign movies! Love Iranian, Israeli, Spanish (Almodovar), and French cinema! You can write the title of any type of movie that you really liked on you postcard too! I would love that!

Finally, you can also recommend me a book to read from an author from your country! :)
