I am a 43-year old mother of two boys, ages 15 and 12, and I work in an elementary school. I started Postcrossing when my older son's teacher challenged his class to collect postcards from 50 different countries and all 50 of the United States within the first 100 days of school (roughly September to early February). Now I'm hooked and just do it for myself! :)
My favorite types of postcards are:
-animals (especially cats!)
-recipes and food
-vintage cards
-pictures of nature
-Coca Cola
-Superheroes
-shaped cards
-famous landmarks
-Catholic/christian themes
-aerial views
-map cards
-handmade cards, especially with your own photographs
-humorous cards
I enjoy cooking, gardening, scrapbooking, reading, and watching movies (especially superhero movies).
