About Liesbeth...

about me... jeez euhm, well i'm a girl living in holland but i've lived in germany also for 9 years when i was a child.
i love foreign culture, languages, movies and the beauty of nature all over the world.
i'm very fond of animals, i myself have 2 cats.
i've traveled mostly in europe but would like to go further away like my big brother who goes backpack-trafeling every year mostly in asia (i'm sooo jealous).
so yeah, i really don't know what else to write about me.
about receiving postcards, i don't have a preference much.
maybe something that represents your country, city or youself.
but i'm happy with anything.
if you don't know what to wright about, then tell me your motto in life, or a saying from your country/family.
i'd love it if you could wright it in your own language and with enlisch translation.
and could you please wright the date when you posted it?
Thanks and i'd love to hear from you.

greeting me :)

***private swap***
i've been to Auschwitz in april and, as i always do when i'm at a historical place or a museum, i've bought some postcards.
the thing is, i don't dare to sent them because i don't want to offend or shock other postcrossers. also getting a postcard should give a smile at someone's face and Auschwitz was not a happy place to say the least. i've got cards from Auschwitz Birkenau.the pictures are (even though it's one of the most terrible places on earth) sort of pretty. they have a winters vieuw, some with foggy sunsets.
no people are on it. it's more railway, fences and broke down barracks/chambers. the cards are also a bit bigger than normal postcards. it's a UNESCO heritage also.
let me know if you have an interest in these cards
