I started PostCrossing following my fathers example. This is me: I'm Laura. I have a busy life. I'm 47yrs old. I have a son (13) and a daughter (14). I have a job. I like to read, mostly Crime and Fiction. I like music and art, but not too loud and little at a time. I have way too many shoes and like them all. I like the world, I like The Good Life. I like the countryside and I love Spring. I don't like hot weather and rain. I like snow, for just a few days. I love a windy, sunny day at the coast and I hate the sand that comes with it. I love to travel, just not on a boat. I love to cook and eat. I like diner talk and a glass of wine to go with it. I love film but haven't been in a cinema for ages. I love cookies and pies, baking them as well. And I love a good coffee.

Who are you? I'd love to receive your postcard. Any postcard you choose is fine. I do have a predilection for non-touristic pictures. Photos, art, book illustrations, famous people - anything pretty or peculiar.
And I do enjoy it if you'd write something. I'm curious about anything you might consider trivial. What did you have for breakfast? Boots or lace-up shoes? Do your children sing songs the wrong way around? How many umbrellas have you lost in your lifetime? Any advise on some favorites? Ever broke a leg? Can you tie a tie?
