I’m a 78-year-old retired woman. I love being retired; it's great to have time for hobbies, which includes mixed-media art and decorating eggs using the traditional Ukrainian wax-resist method.

I have a tendency for collecting and my collections include hedgehog items and PEZ dispensers.

Some types of postcards I'm especially interested in:

• hedgehogs, echidnas
• birds, especially ones that are special to your area
• other wild animals, especially unusual ones
• mailboxes, postage stamps
• chocolate
• Nouvelle Images
• handmade
• cards with lots of purple

Other than those preferences, cards that are a little bit unusual would be great. I'm not very interested in traditional view cards (buildings, monuments), but if that's all you've got, then of course that's fine!

At appropriate times of the year, I'd be glad to get holiday postcards (I prefer postcards rather than folded greeting cards): New Years, Valentines Day, Easter (especially those showing decorated eggs), Halloween, Christmas.

I'd love to hear something about your daily life and maybe something about you that is a bit unusual—especially something that is not in your profile. (I always read the sender's profile after I register a card.)
