Hi, I'm Kirsten! I'm a 30-something living in County Wicklow, Ireland with my husband and our two cats. I'm originally from Vancouver, Canada. I joined Postcrossing because I like getting proper mail - not just bills! :)

I like photography, cooking, reading and getting outdoors. I love to travel, explore new places and meet new people! I also love learning new languages - I'm learning sign language at the moment!

So... what kind of cards do I like?

- a photo of your favourite place, even if it's not in your own town or country
- something that makes you smile or laugh
- a photo you took yourself
- handmade cards (some people are so creative!)
- interesting ad cards
- recipe cards
- map cards
- cards of cats (photos, cartoons, whatever!)
- black and white photography
- interesting architecture (I love castles and religious buildings)
- beaches or nature scenes near you
- cartoons
- graffiti
- art cards from your favourite artist
- I LOVE holiday related cards (Christmas, Easter, whatever you can find) but only near the holidays, please. :)

As for what to write... well I love learning new languages, so I'd love it if you'd write something in your own language and translate it for me! Other than that... if I came to your country or town, where should I definitely visit - somewhere that's not too touristy! If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go? What did you do today? How is the weather where you are? Do you have a favourite joke? What's something you're really passionate about? What are your dreams for the future?
