Hi, Postcrossers!
I decided to rewrite my profile cause it was too lengthy. I'm a 19-year-old medical student. My dream is to become a cardio- or neuro-surgeon or an autoiummune physician. I used to have a goal of becoming an astronaut or a space scientist when I was years younger. However, things all changed after I turned 17. It was in 2009 that I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and realised how precious life is. My friends asked me how come I gave up my dream so easily while I thought I just found it. Medicine is what I will dedicate myself fully into in the future to come. Being a doctor may be a lot down on eatrh in the surface; in fact, it's a life time career that I can carry on with the greatest passion. To save lives with my own hands and professional knowledge is always my aim. I'm a active learner, eager to learn about new information and techs every moment. My favourite subjects back in high school are math, physics, biology, geography( I'm so addicted to atlas and maps that I memorized the main cities in the globe when I was 5.), earth science and art. I admire Van Gogh (the starry night), Shakespeares, Da Vinci, and Einstein. I enjoy sports like swimming, biking and walking in the forest or down the streets. Reading novels by Dan Brown and books about neuroscience and surgery or anatomy is what I do for leisure time. Watching movies is my biggest hobby. I also collect coins and bills from different nations for fun. Having acquiring this deltiology since I was 10, I collect a large variety of postcards. The following are the types I prefer, in case you have no idea how to choose a card for me.
-ancient or modern buildings, especially European castles or cottage
-Fifa football or olmypics
-local scenic views, cityviews, landmarks, flags, atlas,
-MEDICAL or science research centres
-national parks or tourist spots
-choirs, ballet, riverdance, musicals
-killer whale (NO OTHER ANIMALS PLEASE)
-ANYTHING YOU THINK IT MIGHT SUIT ME(no idea? check my "favourites" wall)
-Canadian stuff, maple (I spent the last year of my childhood in Vancouver in 2004. Haven't been back for 7 years, I really miss the place and the friendly Canadians.)
-lighthouses, brigdes, fountains, windmills
-streetviews, smiley people, BABIES!
-Harry Potter, Twilight Saga, Grey's Anatomy
-with gorgeous stamps!
