My name is Jorge and I'm a translator.

I'm a compulsive reader and a book hoarder. I like fiction (mainly historical fiction, fantasy and science fiction), non-fiction (mainly history) and comics (mainly bédé and manga).

I also like anime and BBC dramas.

My latest hobby is tabletop games. Presently I play mostly Kings of War, Frostgrave and Rogue Stars, but I enjoy trying out new games all the time. If you're into painting miniature models, tell me about it :)

I'm also into card and board games, especially off-beat games like Munchkin and Krosmaster Quest :)

I'm interested in learning about other countries' history, culture, lifestyle. I love small details, stuff that makes a place unique.

I really like learning about odd customs and superstitions. For example, in Portugal people say that if you step over someone (usually children), without touching the person, so that they pass between your legs, that person won't grow properly, and to undo it you must step over them backwards. No one really believes it, it's just a silly superstition. :D
