Hello, my name is Jon and I live in Saint Paul, Minnesota with my wonderful nurse wife Eliza and our four little kitties Olaf, Beaker, Hobbes, and Dodger; and in August 2023 we welcomed our first child, David. He is a beautiful, happy, and healthy baby boy. All of us together in our house built in 1882, perfect for a history lover.

I love to travel. Mostly to cultural sites like museums or ruins. I have visited Canada, Mexico, Germany, the Philippines, Italy, Vatican City, France, the United Kingdom, San Marino, Monaco, Belgium, the Netherlands, Albania, and Greece.

I love History and Politics. It is what I studied in school. I am fascinated by local politics. So tell me some history or what is going on in your life, I love personal stories.

In the past I worked in the history field. I was doing biographical research for a book titled "The Relentless Business of Treaties." It was written about all the white men who signed Indian Treaties on behalf of the United States during the 18th and 19th centuries. Spoiler alert: they were not great people. Now I am a Parking Attendant at the Minnesota History Museum, I hope to get another job in history.

I also like sports. My favorite team is Minnesota United who play in the American "Major League Soccer." I like the Minnesota Twins in Baseball as well and the Minnesota Vikings of American Football.

I love the Great State of Minnesota. I was born and raised there and consider myself more Minnesotan than American :) I live in my hometown of Saint Paul! I love the nature of my home state, our festivals around town, and the welcoming atmosphere of the people (we have a large refugee population. Of course like everywhere we have problems, but that is why I am interested in politics because I believe things can get better :)

I love this site! Getting mail from across the planet is amazing. I love hearing about the lives of others, it makes me feel so connected. Please tell me a bit about your life, where you're from, just basically whatever.
