Hello, fellow Postcrossers!

I am 29 years old and I live in northern Virginia (close to Washington, DC) with my husband Jason. I have lived in the Washington DC metropolitan area all my life. I love to travel, but it is so expensive, so I guess PostCrossing is the next best thing. :) I have a large collection of postcards outside of PostCrossing and love to add to it from places all over the world!

I love ALL the cards I receive, but my favorites are:
* view cards of pretty places! Show me your favorite!
* cards about someplace/something particularly interesting/pretty/unique in your town/city/region. (e.g. a funny statue, an interesting building, a beautiful mountain or view, attractions...)
* your favorite place, someplace you went on vacation, interesting places to go or see or do...
* cards from/about American places/TV shows that have spread to other countries- for instance I once received a really cool postcard from Disney in Japan :)

On the back:
* Tell me about yourself (job, hobbies, dreams, family!)
* Tell me about the front of the card - why is it interesting or unique? Where did you get the card?
* Maybe write something in your language and translate into English.
* Do you have a website or blog you would be interested in sharing? Send me a link!
* Do you have a favorite recipe to share? (Especially cookies/biscuits!)
* I would also love to hear about your impressions of the United States. It's interesting to learn what people think about my country! (One person has said she visited America only once and thought Americans smelled like soap!)
