About Leslie...

Hello fellow Postcrossers! I wanted to let you know before you send a card that even though I work in Guam, I am from the United States and I have visited, lived in, or been stationed in all of the 50 US States. I grew up in Illinois and I have lived in Germany, Puerto Rico, Guam and so when you are selecting a card, please understand that Postcrossing treats all US Territories as separate countries, when they are not. This creates problems for me sending cards as well as receiving cards. So to keep you from wasting cards or materials,
I do not collect brochures or nice to know facts about the United States. I am not concerned about the card coming from the original place as long as it fits in my collection. I hope that clarifies things. I have spoken with the folks at Postcrossing and they stand by the way they assign codes and I had the same issue when I lived in Puerto Rico. Also, you do not need extra postage or international stamps on cards coming from USA, just to save you some money!
I collect castles, churches, any religious cards, cathedrals, mosques, temples and cemeteries from all over the world and if you'd like to exchange letters, I love writing and receiving snail mail. I also love everything Russian and Polish. I also collect Bald Eagles. I also love water color illustrations and you can see examples on my wall.

I have no interest in home made, cartoon, anime, or kiddie postcards. Please do not send them. Please do not send folded cards, they are not postcards. Thanks

I am currently serving as a math teacher for the Department of Defense Educational Activity in Santa Rita, Guam. USA. My first career was with the United States Air Force, then I was a Park Ranger for 12 and I have been teaching Math on an off for 18 years. I have a Doctorate from Liberty University and I am a lifelong learner.

I love anything to do with the outdoors. I love hiking, kayaking, cross-country skiing, swimming, baseball, football, hockey and just about any sport. I have been a swimming, tennis and softball coach and I love working with youth.

I am an avid photographer, I love photographing nature, lighthouses, and my obsession is train car graffiti.

I have traveled all over the world and I lived in Germany for 6 years. I would love to have postcards from anywhere and everywhere. Old buildings, old churches, cemeteries and old architecture are my passion.

I love Russian history and anything to do with Russia and Poland. If anyone wants to correspond from anywhere in Russia or Poland, please contact me.

If you want to swap directly, my album can be found here
