Hi there! I'm James and I'm a recent college grad living in a small town in California.

I joined Postcrossing because I thought it would be cool to get postcards from all over the world, and to send people postcards from my part of the world.

I love music. Some of my favorite genres are: heavy metal (specifically doom, black, and death), punk rock (specifically riot grrrl, hardcore, folk punk, and post-punk), new wave, indie rock, electronic ambient, and psychedelic rock (specifically heavy psych and space rock).

I collect comics, but usually don't like comic book movies. My favorite heroes are Spider-Man, Wonder Woman, Wolverine X-23, Hulk, and Superman.

I follow baseball closely. My favorite team is the Oakland Athletics. I do my best to keep up with baseball in other countries like Japan, Dominican Republic, and Australia. I love most other sports that I see too, especially basketball and the Sacramento Kings.

I would be delighted to receive any card, but if you would like some suggestions, here are some ideas:

Baseball stadiums, players, teams, etc.
Music, musicians, bands, musical instruments, concert venues
UNESCO sites
Surrealist art
Cryptids (Bigfoot, Sasquatch, Loch Ness monster, etc.)

But the best post card to send me is the one you've already got :)
