My name is Irit (read: E reet).
I live in Israel, near Caesarea which is in the middle between Tel Aviv and Haifa. My father was born here, and so was I. My husband and I chose this place as our home and raised both our children here. We live and work here for almost 3 decades.
Today Pardess Hanna Karkur (PHK) is a town of about 50,000 residents and growing.
We love traveling - in Israel we like hiking, and abroad we like to visit cities and walk them top to bottom, either guided or self-guided.
We love to entertain family and friends for dinner or just hang out on our porch.
We read a lot, take care of our garden, and love modern history. In recent years I am busy with local and national heritage as curator and a historian. For about 7 years I chaired the local heritage center.
My husband collects the little toys of Kinder eggs, and I collect stamps and bookmarks.

I'd like to have postcards that show places that will be interesting to visit, or which relate to a nice story, or anything that will make me curious to read or learn more of the theme on the postcard. If you chose an interesting stamp - that's a bonus.
