Hi all,

I'm Iina and I live in Järvenpää which is situated about 35 kilometres to the North from the capital of Finland Helsinki.

I'm 28 years old, and I work as a tax specialist. In my freetime I run a lot and explore the nature. At the moment I'm training for my second full marathon. I also enjoy visiting art exihibitions and museums. My favourite animal is a cat.

In Järvenpää we have a beautiful lake called "Tuusulanjärvi". Especially during the summer time it is a popular activity to cycle around the lake Tuusulanjärvi. There are also many museums around the lake Tuusulanjärvi, as in the beginning of the 20th century many masters of Finnish literature, art and music lived on the Tuusulanjärvi lake road. The most famous citizen of my hometown Järvenpää is the past composer Jean Sibelius who lived here almost 50 years.

I love the idea of postcrossing as another dear hobby of mine is travelling and getting to know different cultures. Besides my country of origin Finland, I have lived longer time in the Netherlands, Estonia, France and Australia.

I can speak English, Swedish, French (and Finnish). However, it would be nice to learn something also in your mother tongue. 😊
