About Heather...

Hello, my name is Heather and I am originally from New Zealand. I live in Australia with my Aussie husband Ryan, my 19 year old brother and my 18 year old nephew (and of course, our gorgous dog Flynn). They all keep me on my toes! Aside from postcrossing, my hobbies include bollywood dancing and taiko (Japanese drum). I like to experience cultures around the world!

I love everything about postcrossing. When one of my cards registers, I don't waste a moment requesting another address! I love reading your profiles and choosing the right card and stamps. Postcrossing brings daily joy into my life!

As far as postcards go, I do have favourites! If I was to sum them up in one quick word, I would say my favourite cards are 'cute' cards.

My favourites (in order of favourites but any of these would be wonderful):

-Wild animals (I prefer a real image rather than art please)
-Cats/dogs/donkeys or other pet animals
-Brightly coloured postcards
-Anything you would consider 'cute'
-Faces of elderly people (the face of any person would actually be great)
-Mostly black and white with a little bit of colour
-Postboxes and mailboxes
-Royalty
-Postcards with a love heart shape on it somewhere
-Lali
-Cards of an unusual shape
-Flag of your country
-Beautiful nature

You can see what I have received of those special topics here:

Really I prefer any card except typical tourist cards of buildings and cities (I would rather see them when I travel) but I understand sometimes it is all you can buy in your area-don't worry, I'll still register every card I receive!

I have lots of cards on my favourites wall so please check there. Some of them are cards I want and some are ones I've already received but you should easily be able to see if the person who received it was hmassese or not.

On my blog (linked on my profile) you can see every card I've ever received. There are a LOT of cards there so if you are from China, Finland, Germany, Malaysia, Netherlands, Russia, UK or USA, it might be easier for you to check my received cards on Flickr:

Could I please ask you to save your envelope for someone else? I smile a big, big smile when a stamped and written postcard arrives in my mailbox!

That was a lot to read huh!? Sorry about that! Lets sum it up with this: Could I please have your cutest or brightest card, stamped and written. Thanks so much!
