About Olga...

Hi!
Most of my free time i spend on the road (as if I'm Kerouac's hero, heh - how is that I'm not fired from work yet??;)), because traveling is the best thing in the world. Other hobbies - yoga, skiing and snowboarding.I am interested in wild nature (very fond of mountains and ocean life), rock-n-roll music and science - I am PhD student in molecular genetics (and now I am also teaching some students at the local university - that's great fun but so tiresome...)

I am sort of Harry Potter and Zelazny's "The Chronicles of Amber" fan. And I like Tolkien's and Tove Jansson's books very much. Also I am pretty much sure Discworld exists somewhere.

My favorite series are:
a) anime (and manga) One Piece (it is just about what I always wanted to do - travel with my friends around the world, experience adventures and do silly things) and
b)Mad Men, as they are truly a masterpiece
c)Cowboy Bebop - jazz+sci-fi+film noir apparently turned out to be a perfect cocktail. The soundtrack hardly ever leaves my car's audio system and I wish I had a chance to pilot Swordfish II, such a beautiful spacecraft it is. (I wish I had a chance to be Spike, but that's even more complicated, I suppose.)

I also appreciate House MD, BBC's Sherlock and I'm huge Top Gear fan (I adore cars, driving and men with good sense of humour). Speakng of japaneese animation I can also add to the list Hayao Miyazaki's works (Totoro and Porco Rosso in particular).

Speaking of movies I was impressed by Inception. I watched it 3 times and I love it: finally an original work and a blockbuster that is really exciting and interesting.Or maybe Nolan simply got a bunch of handsome men in nice suits there, really.

I like three-piece suits, solving difficult problems and daydreaming. Oh,and I forgot to tell you that I have a thing for high-speed trains. Seriously. (Quite a geek I am, yeah.)

I'd be very glad to receive cards with:

-different types of landscape(especially mountains and sea),
-wild birds
-trains, airplanes or cars
-anything concerning my favorite books and series (see above)
-outer space- stars, galaxies, planets etc
-any strange pictures (T-Rex in a top hat, anyone?)
-if by chance you find smth like a card with xkcd webcomics I'll be really grateful. But I'm not sure if such a thing exists in our Universe.

And also I like black-and-white photos.
And never forget about city views!
But I am looking forward to anything you wish to send.

Now that you are probably tired from reading stuff about me - send me a card and write something about yourself. I'll appreciate that.
