My name is Heidi Barthelemy, I am in my late-fifties, the 4th and youngest daughter of a pair of interesting world-travelers, my 3 sisters live all around the world.

Most of the postcards I send are from documentary work my father and I photographed in Mexico, which are now in the collections of the Smithsonian Institute and various University Anthropology Archives. I hope you like them. You can see them through my 'sent postcards' list.

At Christmas, I do an event called The Great Dickens Christmas Fair in San Francisco. We built a temporary set of Victorian London neighborhoods and have a theatrical craft show for 5 weekends:

In Spring I do the Renaissance Pleasure Faire in Southern California. We are celebrating over 50 years of this event. I have been involved in this marvelous event since 1981 with my business partner.

In late August I help build a festival in the remote Nevada desert called Burning Man. It is a phenomenal week long event in which 62,000 people make ART happen and ultimately leave the desert cleaner than we found it. (I will be away for the last two weeks of August, but promise to register all cards received in my absence upon my return!)
