**Please Note and Please read** -- I have lost 4 postcards from postcrossers! The cards arrived during the week of 5 March 2012: I only remember two of the cards: one showed the city of DENVER CO WITH THE FOOTHILLS IN THE BACKGROUND and the other was from the P. R. CHINA AND SHOWED BLUE PORCELIN and was the first card the sender had sent to Canada. Please, if you think you have sent me a card that should have arrived during early March 2012 SEND ME A MESSAGE! Also, for the two cards described above please message me with the POSTCARD ID and so that I may register the cards. I'm so embarrassed, but more bothered by the fact I have misplaced the cards because each card I receive really means a lot to me.... *******
I am a 37 year old male from a small community called Jolicure in the province of New Brunswick on the East Coast of Canada, about 225 kms from the Atlanic Ocean and just a few kilometres from the Northumberland Strait and the Bay of Fundy. The Northumberland Strait is 40 kms east of Jolicure and the Bay is just 15 kms west southwest of Jolicure. New Brunswick is a really beautiful province and is almost completely covered by dense forest: mostly evergreen trees such as spruce, fir, and pine with many maples and other deciduous trees mixed in. Jolicure is 15 kms from the Nova Scotia border and 55 kms from Prince Edward Island (two other provinces of Canada). Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick are linked by the Confederation Bridge which is 13 kms long.
*** If you are interested you can check the weather for my home region:
AMHERST, Nova Scotia is just 20 kms south of Jolicure:

MONCTON, New Brunswick is 70 kms northwest of Jolicure:

For my new home:
CALGARY, Alberta

I moved to Edmonton on the 29 April 2008 - some 4800 kms from New Brunswick and on the 6 September 2010 I moved to Calgary (about the same distance from the east coast of Canada as Edmonton). Calgary is a city with about 1.3 million inhabitants and is the largest city in Alberta. Compared to my home region of New Brunswick, Jolicure, with a population of around 100 people, Calgary is definitely a big change! It's a new city for me so I look forward to exploring the city and sending postcards from here to postcrossers around the world.
Calgary is 60 kms from the Rocky Mountains and the mountains are visible from the city on clear days!
Hope to hear from you soon!
