I'm Femke from The Netherlands. I live, study and work in/near Amsterdam. Pretty much all my life I've loved sending and receiving 'real' mail. I've been a member of postcrossing for a while now and I've received lots of nice/funny/cute/special/etc cards. The favourite part of postcrossing for me is picking out just the right postcard for someone. That's why I love nicely filled in profiles, and not just a list of demands. Makes it much easier and enjoyable to choose. :)

♥ Cards with drawings, photo's or illustrations made by local/national artists. For example: Krtek from The Czech Republic, Dick Bruna from The Netherlands, Moomin from Finland or The Simpsons from The U.S.A.
♥ Seasonal cards: Easter, Christmas etc.
♥ Birthday cards for my b'day :)

I'd rather not receive touristy postcards.

And I'd love some nice looking stamps. When someone asks for nice stamps I always pick out a few nice once for that person.
I would really appreciate it if you could try to put as many stamps on the card as possible. Would be a great pleasure receiving such a card. :D

Could you please draw my favourite animal, the monkey on the card? Or draw anything you like. I love it when somebody is a little creative with the card I'm about to receive. :)

Things I like: Kraft paper, my teddybear, hot chocolate, being outside under shelter when it rains, cycling very fast with the wind making me go even faster, cuddling (kroepe), my parent's dog Meike, making stamps, patterns, scandinavian design, 'wrong' humour, sneakers, pizza, oatmeal cookies, penguins, libraries, mystery, magic, all kinds of music, buying postcards, sending postcards, our pink salt lamp, cute felt animals/ornaments, monkeys, the sea, forests, avocado, washi tape, the kakapo bird
