About faithlesskiss...

Note - I haven't been sending through Postcrossing much lately so I may g

I live in New Mexico, USA. I like swimming, especially in the ocean, reading, playing video games, writing, and chatting with my friends - and of course receiving mail!

What to write ON the postcard: If you could add a traditional recipe from your country or region, I would LOVE that.

I would especially love to receive local postcards - of your local natural sites, historical sites, or whatever else. Nearby places are OK too if you don't have anything specific to your town. I love seeing how things are different (and how different they are!) in other places - architecture, dress, day to day life. I've spent time abroad in England, Ireland, and Japan and my favorite things to do in those countries were not so much the touristy things but stuff like going grocery shopping, or walking around looking at houses, traveling by transit, eating at local hole in the wall restaurants. I think it's really cool and fun to compare how these things differ from place to place, in small and big ways.

Things I love:
-sunsets
-flowers (but no super close ups)
-other brightly colored things
-traditional dress/outfits of your country/region
-landscapes, scenery, and cityscapes
-recipe cards
-Russian (& Mongolian and Chinese) postcrossers: the Trans-Siberian Railroad
-mountains
-sporting locations like stadiums, arenas, etc.
-Borobudur is totally on my bucket list of places to visit. Don't suppose anyone has a card?

I do prefer single image cards to collages and I also prefer textless images. Would prefer you didn't use an envelope because I like to save the stamps, and it's easier when they're attached to the card instead of on the envelope. I also love bright colors and am not as much of a fan of B&W cards or cards without a lot of color in them. Please don't send cards that look like they could be taken in my home country/state - I like things that are different from my area! I also like more unusual sites - let's face it, I already know what the Eiffel Tower/Stonehenge/Tower Bridge look like, and would like to learn about more unusual places. Also don't like cards with huge white border spaces...yes, I have some particular requests!

US Postcrossers: I've lived in Philadelphia, Phoenix, and NM. Hopefully that gives you some ideas of what sites might be more new to me (or look like home!).

My favorites ( http://www.postcrossing.com/user/faithlesskiss/gallery/favourites ) might give you some idea of what kinds of cards I especially like. I am going to try to narrow it eventually to only cards I have received.

If you send me a postcard and it expires, please send me a message, just in case I've misplaced it.

I am open for postcard swaps, and also possibly for swaps of items if there is something you would like from my area. Send me a message to check!

What to write on the cards: I would love if you included a local traditional recipe or old family recipe.
