My name is Evelyn and I live in the beautiful Okanagan Valley in British Columbia, Canada. I'm in my late 50's and am a grandmother to 7 beautiful grandkids (2 girls and 5 boys). I don't think my husband and I will ever get to do much travelling (unless we win the lottery), so Postcrossing is going to be my little window to the world. To that end, when it comes to postcards, I'd really like to see where you live, what your area of your country is like. That would mean scenery postcards, I suppose, something you would tell a visitor to your town that they must see or experience.

After having sent a few cards and reading some profiles, I have a request for anyone in the Netherlands who gets my name. My parents emigrated to Canada from Friesland and I've always been interested in klederdracht (I hope I spelled that correctly); cards with the traditional costume of your area would be lovely to receive.

As well, contrary to some people who don't like homemade, hand made, or self-published cards, I love them! Just don't send me an old photograph as a postcard. That's cheating. If you like making your own cards though, bring it on. I'd love to see what you make.

Oh, one more thing... after having received three Inge Look cards, I'd love to get more. They're terrific!
