Hi,
I heard about postcrossing from a friend who attendes the same regular bookcrossing meetings. Since that is something I love about bookcrossing: getting to know a bit about people from all over the globe, I started postcrossing.
I am 40 years old and work full time in industrial safety and environment protection.
I love outdoors and nature, my vacation is usually hiking with friends. I also love books (mostly fantasy) and I´m a member at www.bookcrossing.com.

What postcard could you send to me?
Anything really - surprise me!
But if you have heaps of them and don´t know how to choose:

- dolphins, ravens - If you are from New Zealand: Kea (the clever green parrots)
- reading books
- fantasy
- landscape
- local food / sweets
- nature
- bits of your country / town you especially like

If you are at a total loss what to write on your postcard to me tell me about your favourite recipe (at least what the dish is called - so I can google for the recipe). I love to try out new recipes and usually bring back a cookbook from my vacations.
You could recommend me a book you liked a lot and think I should read too.
You could also tell me about a local superstition (e.g. here a black cat crossing your way means bad luck, finding a four-leaved clover is good luck...).

PS: The picture I have for an avatar is "me" but it was taken in an amusement park where (among other things) you could dress up old-fashioned and have your picture taken.
